Fr. Gallagher tournament: Our annual juvenile hurling tournament took place last Saturday in Shallee. We had over 60 players taking part on the day, and with a big turnout of supporters, there were lots of matches to keep them entertained. All the games were competitive, with great skill on show and only a score or two between each team. Cian Cronin lifted the cup on behalf of the Drumbawn Dragons. Well done to Ella Gleeson who was selected by the coaches as player of the tournament. Thanks to everyone who helped organise the event and thanks to all for their continued support.

U14: The hurlers bowed out of the North A hurling championship last week, against Newport, at the semi-final stage . They made a great start with an early Jake Lenihan goal setting the tone. Newport finished the half stronger to lead at halftime. They conceded two goals early in the 2nd half and despite a huge effort for the remainder of the game, they could not reduce the deficit. Well done to all the players and coaches for their efforts this year.
